It's busy times at Idol Records. The new GBH CD "Cruel & Unusual" hits stores on August 10 and the band will be doing a U.S. tour in September with The Circle Jerks. The CD is available via download now at iTunes and audiolunchbox.com The split release from The pAper chAse & Will Johnson is also available now on iTunes and audiolunchbox.com The limited edition 7" (500 copies) will be in stores on August 17 but you can order it now direct from Idol Records for $4.00 ppd. Idol Records has just signed Flickerstick and will be releasing their long awaited 2nd studio album "Tarantula" on October 5th. Recorded in Chicago by Keith Cleversley and additional recording by Tim Patalan (The Fags, Sponge) and Paul Williams (Polyphonic Spree). The first single "Teenage Dope Fiend" will go to radio in early September. The band hits the road in late Sept. starting with the West cost. The Fags will return to Dallas to play Edge Fest on Sat. August 7th at Smirnoff Amphitheatre. They are currently in the studio working on their debut release for Sire Records.
